The Intra Company Transfer (ICT) Work permit is a popular business immigration program among foreign entrepreneurs interested in expanding their business into Canada. Through this program, entrepreneurs can temporarily immigrate to Canada on a Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) exempt work permit and later apply for permanent residence after one year of employment in the Canadian enterprise.
